The staff and management of Mineral Labs recognizes that the foundation of a testing laboratory is the quality control system.  The Mineral Labs Total Quality System consists of many facets.  Carefully, following ISO/IEC Guide 25 requirements, MLI has in place a system of controls which includes duplicate determinations, NIST reference material testing, and round robin participation.  Our quality system has been accredited be the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation.  This accreditation meets the requirements of ISO/IEC Guide 25-1990 "General Requirements for the Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories" (equivalent to relevant requirements of the ISO 9000 Series of Standards) and any additional requirements in the identified field of testing.

Complemented by total documentation for calibration of equipment, maintenance repair, employee training, and quality oversight visits, this system assures that any customer from the smallest coal company to the largest utility can call upon Mineral Labs and have complete confidence that they are getting the maximum for their quality control and assurance dollar.
